Under palms of the hand

1. The trainee sits on the edge of the pool. The trainer must have a stable position in the pool.

2. The trainee places his or her palms over the trainer’s palms without touching them, while the trainer and trainee keep eye contact with each other.

3. The trainee then gently enters the pool while relying on the trainer to hold them up if needed.
